Description

-Glaspike (Glass + Spike) - The Ice Sponge Fakémon. Ice Type. Abilities: Cold Contact//Sturdy//HA: Regenerator.
-Dex Entry 1: They are found in the freezing waters and cave systems of the Antartos region. The funnel on their bodies is capable of freezing water rapidly, allowing them to rebuild parts of their body that may break off.
-Dex Entry 2: Despite their fragile appearance, their body is composed of an icy superstructure that allows them to withstand immense pressure. If parts of their body break off, they can freeze surrounding water to rebuild it.
>>Based on: Glass Sponges. Tables.

Evolves at Lvl.45 into...

-Spongore (Sponge + Gore) - The Compact Ice Fakémon. Ice Type. Abilities: Cold Contact//Sturdy//HA: Regenerator.
-Dex Entry 1: They lodge themselves in the roofs of caves, dropping down onto their prey as it walks by. Over-zealous Spongore sometimes drop from too great a height and remain lodged in the cave floor.
-Dex Entry 2: Upon evolution, Spongore leave the ocean floor to live in caves and icy crevisses. It is believed the Antartos region is made up of many of their remains.
>>Based on: Glass Sponges (bit.ly/2iz4bRz); Chandeliers; Glass tables.

*Cold Contact: Contact with the Fakémon lowers the attacker's Attack stat. Note: Cold Contact will have no effect on other ice type Fakémon.
>>New Move - Nitro-blast: The user shoots freezing liquid nitrogen at its target. This may also leave the target with a burn. Ice type; Special category; 15PP (24PP Max); BP: 80; 100% Accuracy.
>>New/Signature Move - Ice Tacks: The user lays a trap of icy tacks at the opposing team's feet. The trap lowers the Attack stat of Fakémon that switch into battle. Ice Type; Status Category; 20PP (32PP Max); BP: N/A; -% Accuracy. Note: Ice Tacks will be removed from play (and have no effect on) when Fire type Fakémon opponents (that are not part flying or have Levitate for an ability) are called into battle. It is also removed via Rapid Spin, Defog, etc. Although Ice Tacks will have No Effect on Ice types, Ice type Fakémon themselves will not remove the Tacks from play, simply by being sent out.
