Sketch-dump 11 - WIP

Generally happy with the 'weirdness' of a lot of these; also added in a redesign of the Asterush//Gyrosat line for good measure (I felt they were rushed concepts before, but really happy with them now).

-Nymphang (Nymph + Fang) – [Not drawn to scale: should be smaller] - The Tooth Shell Fakémon. Rock//Fairy type. Ability: Sturdy. 75% Female-25% Male.

>Based on: Tooth Fairies. I wanted them to look somewhat alien; I don’t get why a tooth fairy wouldn’t be insane looking – they take your teeth while you sleep! Evolves when traded with King’s Rock into…

-Toothymp (Tooth + ‘Imp’) – The Tooth Crown Fakémon. Rock//Fairy type. Ability: Levitate.

>Based on: Tooth Fairies – a more ‘traditional’ fairy look with tooth shapes in its now fully-developed wings.

 

-Sweeteeny (Sweet + Teeny) – The Sugar Worm Fakémon. Bug type. Abilities: Shield Dust/Vital Spirit (too much sugar!).

>Based on: Gummy worms, caterpillars. Evolves at lvl. 10 into…

-Cocoan (Cocoa + Cocoon) – The Cocoon Fakémon. Bug type. Ability: Shed Skin.

>Based on: Chocolate bars, Maple Moth Cocoons. Evolves at lvl. 15 into…

- The Sugar Moth Fakémon. Abilities: Sweet Veil; HA: Compound Eyes.

>Based on: The Rosy Maple Moth (bit.ly/1ARVqWV ); Mallow twizzlers (antennae); Sweets, candy, etc.

>New move – Sugar Rush (PP: 20) – Fairy type – The user ingests a mystical sugary substance that boosts energy levels, increasing Speed, Attack, and Spl. Attack by one level.

-Asterush (Asteroid + Rush) - The Cosmic Trail Fakémon. Rock type. Abilities: Solar Power//HA: Levitate.

>Based on: Asteroids/Comets, Space dust trails, Gravity. Evolves w/Fire Stone into...

-Gyrosat (Gyroscopic + Saturn) - The Planetary Fakémon. Rock//Fire type. Abilities: Solar Power//HA: Levitate.

>Based on: The planet Saturn (1.usa.gov/1n2iqwy ).

 

-Perfidingo (Perfidious (means dishonest) + dingo) - The Spirit Guard Fakémon. Psychic//Dark type. Abilities: Forewarn//Frisk//HA: Infiltrator.

>Based on: Dingoes, which were viewed in Aboriginal society as protecting from evil spirits (bit.ly/1qVrgQr ). I had it receive the Dark typing upon evolution as obviously it’s SE against ghost types now, and I had an idea that these guys are abusive of the trust people place in them and steal food and trinkets for themselves from their owners, etc. Evolves FROM Wimpup at lvl. 20.

-Wimpup (Wimp + Pup) – The Spirit Vision Fakémon. Psychic type. Abilities: Forewarn//Frisk//HA: Inner Focus.

>Based on: Dingo puppies, scaredy cats. Also thought that even though they can see ghosts/spirits with their tail’s eye, they are terrified of them.

-Gluep (Glue + Goop) – The Slime Bug Fakémon. Bug type. Abilities: Liquid Ooze//Suction Cups//HA: Regenerator.

-Slymvern (Slime + Wyvern) – The Slime Dragon Fakémon. Bug//Dragon type. Abilities: Sticky Hold//Suction Cups//HA: Regenerator.

>Based on: Velvet worms; Wyverns, Water cannons. I envision these guys coming in the ‘blue’ seen here, a ‘brown’ and a ‘white’, as in real life. The ‘white’ colouration would be rarest, but colour really means nothing with regards to stats.

>Signature Move: Slime Cannon [PP: 5 (Max: 8); BP: 110; Accuracy: 85%]– Bug type – has a 30% chance of reducing the target’s speed.

 

-Caimodore (Commodore + Caiman) – The Weed Croc Fakémon. Water//Grass type. Abilities: Infiltrator//Unburden//HA: Drizzle.

>Based on: Dwarf Caiman (bit.ly/XB85yk ); Swamp Logs. Evolves at lvl. 14 into…

-Chewtenant (Chew + Lieutenant) – The Leaf Croc Fakémon. Water//Grass type. Abilities: Infiltrator//Unburden//HA: Drizzle.

>Based on: Caimans (bit.ly/1oceKsT ); Army attire (leaf helmet, black ‘boots’; camouflage). Evolves with Water Stone into…

-Caimofladj (Caiman + Camouflage) – The Stealth Croc Fakémon. Water//Grass type. Abilities: Infiltrator//Unburden//HA: Drizzle.

>Based on: Black-headed Caiman (bit.ly/1qSag91 ); Marines (Squirtle shell helmet(!); Camouflage (thanks to flowers (pond lilies) that grow on its body, etc.); also, the idea of butterflies resting on Caiman’s heads (the butterfly-shaped leaves, which act as additional camouflage (bit.ly/1tT6ilu ).

>Based on: Probiscus Monkey combined with a Siamang (bit.ly/1ujxasa ); Concert Singers; Had this idea that they produce sound waves which they can then manipulate with their psychic powers to make beautiful/manipulative music etc.
